- Shrnutí: 'Consequences' is a Circuit story to which a lot of sequels have been written. The sequels too are available in the Circuit. The story takes place just after Involvement. Bodie brings Ray back to his place, drunk and unhappy, and begins to put him to bed. Then something snaps in Bodie's head, and he reverses to the Game he used to play as a mercenary. We learn quickly that the Game was 'rape or be raped', and that Bodie had experienced both. He rapes Ray, who passes out and wakes up later in his arms. Then Bodie, ashamed (?) of his conduct, gently makes love to Doyle, who enjoys it, rather against his will. The end of the story shows a smug Bodie, sure of his power over his partner, and a somewhat subdued but resentful Doyle, reluctantly agreeing to a relationship.
This story is, of course, my own interpretation of the events and what could happen afterwards.
